Heather Gallagher’s photography work took a turn after she documented the birth of her friend’s child. “What milestone is bigger than birth? And so when I actually had the opportunity to document one, I was just hooked,” she says. Gallagher now operates a family photography and doula service that covers birth, death and everything in between.
