A LaSalle County coroner says the Illinois State University graduate drowned to death.
Jelani Day, an Illinois State University graduate, was last seen on campus in late August. His remains were found in early September, before being identified later that month. On Monday, the LaSalle County coroner said Day drowned to death, but his family is asking federal agencies to get involved.
