How a neglected urban stream is getting a new life.
Waller Creek runs through the heart of downtown Austin. Due to urban development and decades of historic flooding the creek banks have eroded affecting the wildlife and ecosystems in the area. Now the city, in partnership with the non-profit Waterloo Greenway, is working to restore this urban stream.
