Michael's to advance to the semi-finals.
In today's match, Del Valle and Marble Falls are both hoping to advance.
The head-to-head round is next, but first we're gonna take a minute to get to know the players a little bit better.
All right, De Valle, start with you.
J'Kaideon, I hear this might not be your first time in a TV studio.
- No, it's not.
Actually, I'm the director of our club DVTV, and we produce the news for the school every single day, with live streams on Wednesday.
- Atticus, when you're not doing "High School Quiz Show," where might we find you chilling out?
- You'll probably find me at home chilling with my cats.

Filling out the Del Valle team, we have alternates Sofia and Amerie, and coaches Linda Means and Mark Saenz.
Okay, Marble Falls.
Cooper, when you're not playing "High School Quiz Show," you're a little bit of an athlete, I understand.

- I hit some tweeners, and I try to hit trick shots every match, just have fun.
- So I have to ask everybody who comes here to play tennis, do you have a favorite tennis player?
- Alcaraz.
- And he's doing pretty well these days.
Sarena, so Atticus isn't the only player with a few cats around the house.
You have some of your own I hear.
- I do.
I have five at home.
One of them, Tim, he only has three legs.
He lost one when he was about eight months, I think.
Maybe a little younger.
And then another one, Nix, is almost 25 pounds.
- We have a lot of fractional cats here.
We got 1/2 cat that lives outside, 3/4 of a cat leg-wise, (Sarena chuckling) but maybe the 25 pounds makes up for that- - Must be.
- Make a whole cat.
(Sarena chuckling) Anna, so you have lived outside of Texas, which, you know, don't worry, everyone will forgive you for.
(Anna chuckling) Where'd you live beside this?
- I lived in Pennsylvania, about an hour away from Philadelphia.
- So what's it like living in a different part of the country, having to move like that.
Give you an interesting perspective on where you live now?
- It does, 'cause coming back here as a freshman, I had forgotten what "Friday Night Lights" was like.
And so I came in a Friday, I'm like, "Whoa."
I missed stuff.
- All right, Connor, what's your favorite subject in school?
- My favorite subject is physics 'cause I enjoy solving problems, but it helps that the "My Quiz Show" coach is also the physics teacher.
(audience chuckling) - Okay, was that a little bit of pressure to join the team, or was it a nice supportive experience?
- Well, when I was asked, I jumped at the bit 'cause it sounded like a great opportunity, so.
- Well, every once in a while, we have physics questions come up.
You feel like you're like the the specialty player over there in that subject - Depends on the question.
Some things I know great, others I'm still learning, but that's part of the fun of it.
- Also on the Marble Falls team we have alternates, Ines and Maksim, and coaches, Kaitlyn Goertz and Mihaela Hammond.
We also have with us the Marble Falls principal, Patrick Hinson.
(audience clapping and upbeat music) (graphics whooshing) Okay, it's time for the head-to-head round.
