Clip: Season 26 | 10m 1s | Video has closed captioning.
Larry Franklin recognized a need: access to healthy food in underserved communities. A landscaper and gardener, he founded Black Lives Veggies to plant seeds for a better future of nutrition and well-being. With his nonprofit team and volunteers, he builds garden beds in community spaces, delivers plants, and teaches families how to grow their own food.
